Untangling HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2

Ok, short version of story. I loved my redmere active slim cables but when I went UHD, they did not work. Since then I have been looking for something slim and flexible, and found these last week. They have only been out a few months, and are $20 range not $5 range

So, for anyone wanting a slim cable with UHD, at least we have an option now.

So now we got HDMI 2.1+? Good Luck unless its a short distance!

4k projector prices are still insane. I am leaving the theater at 1080p and BluRay level. Put the upgrade dollars into updating the family room setup. As predicted, it meant replacing most everything but the wall mount.
Samsung 65KS9000 display
Samsung UHD player (on sale. Couldn't justify the Oppo just yet)
Denon 4300 receiver

Kept the TIVO roam, but am now streaming stuff through the UHD player.

Hopefully that lets me rest for a bit before the next rush to upgrade.
