Unresponsive Vbox

I finally got my 10' BUD up and running. I am using an Amiko Nano HD with a Vbox 6. The Vbox is in the tool shed (15ft from dish) and the FTA is in the living room (80ft from tool shed). When the FTA is right next to the Vbox the dish moves without any problems. When the FTA is inside the dish doesn't move at all. I tried moving the dish in the settings menu and still nothing. It moves when I push the buttons on the Vbox itself.

Try new RG6 cable.

I have mine set up similar. My receiver is on one end of the house, and the vbox is on the other end in a room closest to the dish. I would guess about 60 ft and I have extra coax so probably 70ft or so of coax. I have never had an issue. Make sure you are using good RG-6 coax and that the connectors are in good shape.

I'll try new cable. The cable I'm using was installed about a year ago by DTV. Moved dish to a new location

The DiSEqC output level may not be adequate to signal the controller over that distance. This could be due to the sensitivity of the controller, the output level of the STB, coax defect or bad f-fitting.

Any reason that the controller cannot be placed near the STB?
