I want to use two receivers in my motor home. I know I will need a dual lnb, but there is only one line coming in.

I believe that using a stacker at the dish and then a destacker inside should do the job. But is there a better way to accomplish this, or a less expensive way?

Also once past the destacker can you double up one of the lines to utilize both in lines of a dvr receiver - in other words can the two lines be made into 3?

Thanks in advance,

Regards,

Jeff

Yes, you can install a stacker and then split the single line to feed 3 receivers. D10, D11, & D12 receivers have internal destackers, as does the DirecTV DVR Plus (R15). If not a D10, 11, or 12 or an R15, then external destackers would be needed. There is a Dual Destacker for TiVo (D575d). You could utilize a 2-way splitter to feed a regular receiver as well as a D575d (which has 2 outputs).
