Well, looks like you are getting somewhere. Hope it all works out for you. Wonder who is DISH Outdoors! DISH use to sell the Hopper 3s. I bought one from the DISH installer when he came to my house. Thanks for posting your info.i will give try if i current process fails

She told me I can't get the 2nd h3 threw them dish I have to buy it else where, she then told me I can active the 2nd h3 on the account, or wait till they send tech out to swap out current switch for the DPH42 so only 1 dish is needed and have them active.
Molly id= jnb gave me this number 866-262-1240 (dish outdoors) to buy the h3 they told me they dont sell them and i have buy it on Amazon. seem about 259$ on amazon atm.
Before i buy another h3 on amazon i gonna make sure what molly told was right and 2nd one can be activated and all i need to to have dish tech come out with DPH42 switch and install it.
Was told IF manage all this my bill will go up by 8$ from the current 143$ i paying cause I would get back 7$ from one 4k joey but pay 8$ more to make up difference for the 2nd 15 dvr fee
err I just talk another person same number and they said EVEN if i bought 2nd h3 I cant active on same account.
i got out of town days or week so i guess I will try that number when i get back. this getting to be infatuating. I think when my 2 year contract end gonna drop them after 20 years and go to fios or optimum there I would be pay 170$ for tv internet phone with about same channels and same amount tuners as opposed to pay 170$ for tv only. and even if that $170 went up i would still pay less then 290$ month combined cause i already pay 119$ just for internet and phone.

Another tech replied that he just recently installed one. The customer had to buy it for $350.00

You can have 2 Hopper 3s on the account. You've got to escalate to get to the correct CSC team that knows how to handle it.
Got the confirmation from Frank Wolf himself who is pretty high up there at Corporate in Denver.

To anyone who tries, well.... good luck ! Odds are that anyone who tries to get (2) activated will hit roadblock after roadblock in their attempts to find this mysterious "CSC team". They may never get past the front-line reps who won't budge past "2 Hoppers aren't allowed".You've got to escalate to get to the correct CSC team that knows how to handle it.
If it was me I would pursue and pursue till I got the right folks and get what I want. I think you have better luck if you call during the day Monday thru Friday. You would think all the CSRs would be geared up to help folks wanting two Hopper 3s. It just sounds like good business to me for DISH to bring in more monies and satisfy the customer. There must be some kind of reason. Maybe a shortage of Hopper 3s or DPH42 switches.To anyone who tries, well.... good luck !
