Do you use auto-pay? That is a requirement to get the $5 off per month for 24 months. It sounds like they gave you a different $5 per month credit instead. If you have auto-pay, and the $5 per month credit only lasts six months, then there is definitely something wrong.I already have bone to pick with dish cause I was told IF i signed up for another 2 year agreement I would get 15$ off my bill for that 2 years, only to see my first bill stat is only 10$ for 24 month that other 5 $ off it only for 6months.

Yes, just ask MattG. Or call the DISH Presidential office. As Football season approaches I would like a 2nd H3 to replace a 4K Joey to get PIP. Thanks for this thread and the instructions to get this done. However, the process is way too complex for me and most Dish customers. Is there ever going to be the possibility to simply contact DIRT and say I would like to replace my 4k Joey with a 2nd H3 and have them see each other and other Joeys in the house?
Nothing is stopping you from asking. I haven't kept up, but while people were calling/emailing this "executive office" group and getting (2) H3s, DIRT was still saying it can't be done.Is there ever going to be the possibility to simply contact DIRT and say I would like to replace my 4k Joey with a 2nd H3
I sign up just to ask this ,cause i want 2nd hopper 3 for redundancy purpose and cause the endless recording of 1 person is gona kill this hdd like 2 hoppers with sling they went threw in less then 2 years and instead of have 4 people lose all DVR when this happen only 2 will cause that one person.
DPH42 switch is required so i dont need 2 dishes? NJ USA
Is dish gona charge me 2nd 15$ DVR free, ( last i check first box is free but they charging me for the hopper3 15$ and 3 4k joeys 7$*3)

So want to just deal with all at once.
assuming this ist still the number to call

Sorry for your headache. Hall has the best advice. Call back till you get what you want. It is possible unless something has changed. I have two Hopper 3s on one account and there is several other Sat Guys members that have one account too with two H3s.Wow, I just called the President's number looking for 2 Hopper 3's and was told they can absolutely NOT put 2 Hopper 3's on the same account. Currently I have 2 Hoppers with Sling (wife and I use one and mother that lives with us uses the other) This really isn't the issue of the amount of tuners (although it would be nice) but its keeping our/mothers timers separate so something doesn't get accidentally changed or erased and I'd really like to get the Hopper 3 for 4K viewing. I'm out of contract (2 & 1/2 years) so you think they would try to do something nice to retain customers. Any ideas what the "magic phrase" is to pull this off when calling this line?
And just to add to this advice: be prepared to actually cancel your service. That way, they know you are serious. You will probably get a better win-back offer as a former customer, than you would get as a Loyalty offer without closing your account.Call to cancel. Then when you're on the phone with the Loyalty specialist tell them what you want or you will cancel . Especially since you are no longer in contract. With DISH Continuing to bleed subs , I would think that they would want to keep the ones they do have.
I said "win-back" offer, not "new customer" offer. With a "win-back" deal, Dish will re-open your old account, and you keep the same account number and EHD authorization. I know because I have done it before. But you'll lose all EHD recordings.
