Well now my 922 has started to make TV2 freeze and not show anything, takes a reboot to make it work. TV1 acts just fine.

Seriously trying to decide whether to upgrade to a couple Hoppers or just dropped dish all together, the $200 fee, and 2 years of commitment have me on the fence. One or the other would be fine, but not both. Not sure I want to comment to 120-130 bucks a month for another 2 years at this point.

With you there, nothin but trouble with my 922, thinking about hopper, but I just upgraded to the 922 couple months ago.

I have had mine about a year. One month it is flawless and works great, I love those months. The next month the thing is horrible, I have no clue how that could be, but that is how it is. I am so considering Direct, after about 8 years with Dish. Just at some point you have to decide if you want to continue paying to upgrade, or just go to the competition and get free equipment.

Yeah, I got my 922 for free so I am sure I will pay handsomely for the hopper setup. :-(

If it's messing up have DISH replace it,make sure you have the Protection Plan.:)

I am in my 3rd one in two months. I do have the plan so I have not paid anything, I see no point in getting another one as it will also be minimally supported. New I just deal with it while I consider going to hopper since it is still fully supported.

It would seem you may have a problem that is causing your 922's to go out, suggest you have a DISH Tech out to doublecheck your system and placement of your receivers.Good Luck!:)

You could also solve your issue by adding a 211k.:)

When I added another HDTV that's when I disconnected TV2 all together, because I wanted an HD signal to the new HDTV and because I did not care if I had the ability to watch my recordings in the other room the 211k works good.:)

Or you do have the option to add a EHD to the 211k and have it record the same programs you record on the 922 so you could access your recordings in the other room and watch them in HD as well.;):D
