TV1 Remote works intermittently

The TV1 remote on my new 722 is on the fritz. It will work for days and then will stop working and you are unable to use the remote. Reboots and resets do nothing. Then eventually functionality will return. Then a few days later it stop. The duration is different and it happens at different times of the day. The other 722 has no issues and the TV2 remote has no problems during these incidents.

I originally thought the Roku 3 box was interfering, but after removing the box from the equation the same issue will re-occur. The box was just replaced around the 1st of the year. The batteries are good since it will control the Television when this happens.

Any ideas?

You could try & change the remote address. If that doesn't work perhaps getting another UHF remote for tv1 may be in order.

If you actually turn the tv off and then change the channel, then turn the tv back on, if the channel changed then the LCD screen is producing IR interference. Just as stardust3 said you would need a UHF remote.

Might be, because it stopped working again.

A lot of LED TVs cause interference when set in auto backlight/brightness mode. Try turning off, if applicable.
