True south satellite

I am located at 82.62w. Should I use 82.0w or 83.0w? Round up or down or does make any difference?

I would use 83, all though either wouldn't matter as it would be close enough to get you on the arch with no problems.

I just heard that the Nimiq @ 82 was replaced, and almost a Canada only beam.
So I would go with 83 as well, there are a few HughesNet TPs to lock on to, but no video on those.
What I do is get the Sat closest to you Long with out "Driving" the motor (motor at Zero), 83 for you.
Once you have that, use USALS to drive to another Sat close buy, say Horz2 @ 74west, and make any North / South and Dish Elevation adjustment necessary, then us USALS to drive back to 83west and re-check. You should not need to adjust the Motor Latitude setting.

agreed with the 83 as the true south

there are 3 data transponders there which are easy to lock onto
