I'm having difficulty finding my True South satellite AMC5 79W. I'm in toronto and below are my equipments/setup.
Digipower Moteck SG-2100 Motor | Pansat 2500 | Eaglestar 18" Dish. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
Thanks for the reply. Iceberg as many channels as posible. I learned I had to point to AMC5 first which is my true south before I can use my motor. I intend to buy the coolsat 8000hd too so some HD channels will help as well. So what are the satellites that I can get with this setup as a bigger dish is not an option for me. Thanks.
The problem is that your 18" dish is normally used for DBS satellites (Dish Network etc). There is very little FTA on those birds. If you have the Eaglestar 18" dish / dual LNB combo I'd expect that to be a circular LNB on there as well. You need a linear LNB for most stuff FTA.
Effectively you have a very expensive rig for NASA / GOLTV .
