Nope. Read your contract.Anyone have luck getting out of a contract with this? Not having a local is ridiculous.
Retransmission disputes with cable companies were not uncommon before satellites started to make local channels available.
And to make things more interesting, Time Warner Cable started charging a "Broadcast Channels Fee" a couple of years ago. According to them, this is how much they are paying the local channels in retransmission fees. My last bill before I dropped TWC completely a couple of months ago had a "broadcast channels fee" of nearly $4.
Comcast in the Detroit area charges 9.95 for local feeds
Why, when your contract covers this explicitly. It's not even in fine print. It's at the top with stars, bolded, underlined.Anyone have luck getting out of a contract with this? Not having a local is ridiculous.
DISH bill?

The dangers of the ignore function. For me, there is no quote in your post. What's Tampa's excuse?Look at the quote in my post, he brought up a incorrect amount for Comcast, I corrected him.

I wouldn't be so irritated with this mess if Dish had the OTA USB adapters in stock. Missing Fox and the CW in the Denver market
Your confused you can not get service for locals for 4.95 from Comcast
Min service. Digital Economy .....19.95
Broadcast fee................................4.95
Franchise fee................................6.00
You also pay a regional sports fee that is not for FSD because the fee shows up on all accounts
