Honestly Dish had a lot more to lose once football starts if this wasn't settled .
More people will just go somewhere else to find their games.
Obviously Charlie wanted the Tribune channels, otherwise they wouldn't be back.

For once I agree with you. Dish could ill-afford what would probably be a significant sub loss. And, it had gone on long enough. Patience was wearing thin. Something (or someone) had to give.

That's where I'm at with it. Could be neither blinked, and both companies got a wordy email from Wheeler for all we know. There are too many things missing for any of us to form an educated guess on this one.

Well, it looks like WGN America was added to Flex Pack, but not Welcome Pack, so I would say both sides blinked.
