21 February 2006 - Pocket-lint has learnt that Toshiba will be announcing the launch of its first HD-DVD ready notebook next month.
The announcement will be made on Tuesday 7 March and will focus around the launch of a new HD-DVD enabled notebook, the Qosmio G30.
Europe's first HD-DVD enabled device, the move shows that Toshiba is considerably further down the line in terms of availability than Sony and its Blu-ray format.
In addition to the HD-DVD launch, Toshiba has said that it will also showcase its other new notebooks that incorporate Intel's Centrino Duo technology.
