I think the silver runs cooler too (many more vents and openings). Mine never gets above 97

you've ever carried one of the newer models? i've heard the HR20 is heavier. i gather from that info that it's better built than the newer models.

Here are pics of MY HR20 and my HR20 in the my entertainment center with all of my other equipment. You can see that I have a mix of black (PS3 and A30) and silver (HR20, DVD player, AV receiver, and speakers).
