auto rehit?

OK from picking other peoples brain, i have learned alot about 4DTV

however today i noticed my trip counter is at 4, and my status is NS

Uh-Oh! I need a rehit!

Okay there is a problem, nps is closed

The online rehit page needs a 12 digit unit id number

however due to a fluke, my sidecard only has the U/A number

which is 000-03419-98081-164

so my questions are


1. Can you automatically get a rehit my moving to a certain bird?

2. Why did my trip counter go up to 5 from 4 while i was typing this?

3. Can someone try to convert my id to the 12 digit one? someone tried before, but it was incorrect. I have tried it 5 times on motorola's website, but the number i keep getting is invalid!!

i tried that on motorola's site and it didnt work

i let it sit on g1-150 for 1 hour and my trip counter is back up to 11

yes its a lnbf i think i need a hit, but i need my unit id converted to hex

its 000-03419-90091-164

someone said something about having it converted will show up the 12 digit one but i dont know heck about hex

This is what fizzle posted a few days ago. Now he say's it's

but why is my trip counter at 27? i never added any programming

it will go up. My Starchoice receiver is like that too

one day its at 0 and in a week it may be at 25

You get hit each time your number comes up in the datastream. This is so the decoder stays updated. You don't only get hit to turn you on or off. See my hit trip counter count attached.

Im trying to break the counter. I have my 4D on a UPS (a good suggestion to everyone with one) I think it's been over a year since it was without constant juice. You know me Ice I try to go for the record.
