The Voice

Kristin Chenoweth is from Broken Arrow and was in town Thursday for a performance at Performing Arts Center and to dedicate the opening of the new Art and Media Center at the high school. I went to her evening performance at the PAC and she had Alaska and Madi onstage for a couple of songs. Then I was out running errands this morning and Alaska and Madi were performing out at the mall for the opening of a store. Didnt catch it just saw the banners while driving by.

The UK Live Semi Finals were last night. All the coaches performed with their final 2 singers before the public vote was announced for the final 4 in next weeks Live Finals. Sir Tom still has the Voice that commands attention on stage.

Said executive producer Mark Burnett: "I am thrilled to have Pharrell come back to The Voice family, and this time … as a coach. Continuing in The Voice tradition of having the biggest and most current music stars as coaches, Pharrell fits perfectly."

Kylie was saying the other day she would love to come back to the UK next year, but she goes straight into coaching and filming the The Voice Australia live shows, which will run till first week of Aug and has touring scheduled, so she's not sure if she can fit another series in back to back. Ricky has said he would like all 4 to remain, and he is right as the ratings have shown this year was definitely the best of the 3 so far in the UK. Kylie and Ricky were much better than Jessie J and Danny, even will.i.am was good this year and Tom Jones just owns that show with the fans. The early blinds and auditions were a little slow, but it really took off with the Live shows.
