The Road to Super Bowl XLV: The 2010-11 NFL Playoffs

Looks like da'Bears and the Pack for the right to go to the Super Bowl, coming out of the disrespected division they do ...

Who'da thunk ?

And we're down to six possibilities for Super Bowl XLV:

Steelers vs. Packers
Steelers vs. Bears
Patriots vs. Packers
Patriots vs. Bears
Jets vs. Packers
Jets vs. Bears

We'll be down to four possibilities in about four hours

Interesting find:

After QB, look to D: More than anything, the NFL is a quarterback league. Unless a team has a good one, it cannot go far. But the other must-have for any team is scoring defense. Of the eight playoff teams remaining, seven are in the top eight in fewest points allowed this season. Only Seattle does not stack up. Take a look at the teams, the number of points they've allowed and their ranking in scoring defense, and it'll be simple to see why we have the matchups we do.

POINTS ALLOWED BY REMAINING TEAMS

1 Pittsburgh 232
2 Green Bay 240
3 Baltimore 270
4 Chicago 286
5 Atlanta 288
6 New York Jets 304
8 New England 313
25 Seattle 407

I did not know that the Pack D* stood up this well ...

New England better cool them Jets off or they will be watching the Super Bowl at home...

And right now they deserve to be!!

It's almost like they thought they just had to show up.........sorry doesn't work like that!!

And then there were 4

Jets vs Steeler's

Packers vs Bears

Still can't believe two teams from the NFC North made it this far !

I'm guessing that the Steeler's and Jets will be the 4 pm game next week in Pittsburgh.

Green Bay at Chicago- 3:00pm ET

NY Jets at Pittsburgh- 6:30pm ET

I didn't think the Jets would win the game, but they proved me (and a lot of others) wrong.

They played a very good game and silenced the doubters.
