The OFFICIAL DISH / HBO Thread

After today's court ruling the definitive answer to the thread title question is "NO".
It's gone for good. And without an app to get it through the Hopper, the only was Dish customers can get it now is via external device.

That is why I bought the Roku and Fire Stick. I want more control on what I pay for. As much as I like Dish, I do being with them for 20 years now, I still want more control. With streaming we are headed that way. There is many carriers that offer streaming packages. Not everything is available as yet, but more and more by the month.

Another example, albeit with a much smaller audience, the Dan Patrick show just announced yesterday they are leaving NBC Sports Network. This morning they announced they would be moving to Bleacher Sports streaming service. Bleacher Sports is part of Turner which in turn is under the ATT/Warner umbrella. There is some speculation they may ultimately end up on one of the Turner Networks, TNT, TBS or TrueTv. The Dan Patrick show is produced by Direct TV.

Depends on how good the Watchman series is. They may keep me around for 13 weeks before I cancel.
They are getting wise to the binge and droppers. They won't release the online version until the weekly version has aired. Its like they want it both ways. If they are going to do it like that, the real time feed should be the same price as the online version. I don't get it.

Expiring Titles on Amazon Prime: Expiring Titles February 2019 - March 2019

By the way, I'm not sure if this is relevant to anyone who reads this blog, but Warner Bros. has pulled all of their content from Amazon, both movies and TV shows, with the exception of those titles which have not yet expired from Amazon Prime. Now you can no longer rent or purchase anything from Warner Bros. through Amazon, although you can still do so through other sources like Vudu or Google. I believe they have done this in preparation for their own streaming service later in the year.
Anything AT&T touches they ruin just release your POS WanerMedia streaming service that will bomb and stop screwing around with your competitors.

So as much I despite Dish with its disputes I am starting to agree it might be AT&T fault after all. They want HBO and Cinimax only on there crappy WanerMedia service and DirecTV crappy down all the time IPTV service.

There goes HBO and any more quality programs. ATT will do to HBO what it is doing to Directv and everything else it touches. Turn it to caca.

What else could he do once it became obvious ATT was willingly sacrificing HBO revenue in an attempt to get more subscribers onto it's Direct TV.
