The NFL Blotter Report

Breaking News!!! Ray Rice is going to claim that the video from the elevator was altered. I'm guessing that his lawyers watched some old WWF matches where the decision could not be overturned on appeal because even though everyone in the house except the referee saw the winner club the loser with a sap and it was seen on TV - "the tape could have been altered".

Those of us who live near Philly are familiar with Howard Eskin and like me probably think he's usually a big mouthed rabble rowser but today he's my hero. Last week our ex governor, Easy Ed Rendell (a big friend and employee of Comcast btw) ripped Roger Goddell and said among other things that plausible deniability was not an excuse. He let him go and then asked if there was any comparison to his claim of lack of knowledge about the Jerry Sandusky affair while he was governor and had a seat on the PSU Board of Trustees.

Report: Minnesota Vikings do not foresee Adrian Peterson in their future
https://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nfl-...drian-peterson-in-their-future-171004008.html
Chris Mortensen reported that the Vikings do not believe Peterson has come to grips with the likelihood that his 2014 season is all but over despite the possibility of a plea agreement being reached in his child abuse case in Texas.

Despite a possible plea, Peterson faces a potential suspension — and a heavy one — from the NFL. Peterson tweeted Friday that he requested a lie detector test, and according to Mortensen, that is further proof to Vikings officials that Peterson "really doesn't get it*."

!Note,I requested the Polygraph. Share that as well! May The Lord continue to Bless U All. #EPD#NoWeapon

*Adrian Peterson just doesn't get how communist self-criticism/struggle sessions https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Struggle_session ,preferably on Oprah or Dr. Phil, works. By "proclaiming your innocence," you are not being a good comrade/citizen. Confess your sins,Adrian,in the name of American socialism & political correctness.

Adrian, you don't HAVE to go on the Oprah circuit, but you should keep your mouth shut. Twitter IS NOT your friend.

Adrian Peterson breaks silence to say he asked for a polygraph
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.co...d-for-a-polygraph/?ocid=Yahoo&partner=ya5nbcs

OF COURSE you'd pass a polygraph if you are asked,"Did you beat,or in your own words 'whoop,' your son with a switch until he had cuts on his legs, backside,& scrotum?",& you said YES.

Forget the NFL or New Jersey Law Enforcement when it comes to not getting it,South Dakota has them both beat.

Man charged with killing NFL player Peterson's son released on bond: report
https://news.yahoo.com/man-charged-killing-nfl-player-petersons-son-released-043738162--nfl.html

Joseph Patterson was released the first time on bond, after being arrested for killing AP's son,for $750,000,posted by his father....
but was returned to custody in June on charges that he attacked the dead child's mother, strangling her at one point until she stopped breathing

This time he was released on a $2 million bond.:facepalm

Just 6 games? Considering the victim in this case was a defenseless child who had to submit to his authority....I'd give him the rest of the season and all of next as well until he can reapply for reinstatement.

6 games is per the domestic violence policy. Anything beyond that is muddied by it being a child and credit for missed time. I'm expecting something like 3 games and another 3 game checks.

This is punishment from his employer, it doesn't need to represent his entire punishment for his crime.

Many seem to think his paid vacation should be time served and that's it. No way.
