The Man in the High Castle on Amazon Prime

Thanks, I was considering going back to watch the last couple episodes of season 2, this might be better.

That's what I had planned to do as well after I watched the 3-minute recap of season 1. Now I'll just watch the 30-minute recap and jump right in to season 3 tonight. :)

Finished S3. As good and riveting as the previous two, and the ending was right on! Thankfully they are now filming S4 so we don't have to wait two more years. Great show!
Haven't had time to watch much of it yet, but like what I'm seeing thus far! Glad we won't have to wait two years for S4! :)

I watched s.3 eps 3 and 4 last night. It's starting to pick up!

Has anyone noticed how dark and murky the video quality looks this season? I'm using an old 1080p plasma and Roku Premiere+, and the Jack Ryan series I finished watching a couple weeks ago on Prime looked amazing (as does anything on Netflix), so I don't think it's my setup.

It looks as dark and murky as the first two seasons, IMO. I think it the look is intentional.

Amazon doesn’t make it easy to find the UHD versions.

Just started 301. Looks about the same as S01 and S02 on my tv.
They just come up automatically on my Roku Ultra and OLED Smart TV. No hunting necessary. If your player or TV is UHD capable, it goes for the gusto!

Doesn’t on any of my mine. Sony and LG 4K tv apps nor my Amazon 4K pendant. I watched 3 episodes of Jack Ryan before I found the UHD version. Some come up in the 4K originals tab, but it’s never the ones that I want to watch.

Even the trailer looks dark. Everyone is spending money on 4K UHD panels and the programming looks so dark what's the point? I have a new LG C8 I'll check it out and report back.
Update: Just took a peak UHD version season 3 preview and yeah, it's dark because 90% of the scenes are filmed in a night setting or indoors it looks like.

I always meant to go back and binge watch. Never found the time.

I hope Amazon keeps all seasons available for a few more years.
