I'm kinda in the same boat, though I did recently pickup a used M8 to play with and bridge the gap between the M7 and M9. Only thing on the M9 that bugs me is the renders appear to have the power button moving to the side. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but I still prefer it on the top.

Yeah I agree on the power button move but I guess its something I can get used to as well but it looks like the M9 might actually have a good size camera as well. I was looking at the Moto X but will have to wait and see if they come out with a 2015 device. I really like the Moto Maker how you can really customize the device plus the real wood looks really good on the device. I have been real happy with my Moto 360 so far as well it runs really good but right now I'm leaning towards staying with HTC I been really happy with their devices so far. M9 looks like it will be another really nice device as well so we will know more on the first week of March at MWC..
