The Game(s) I Most Want for X-mas...

I thought it would be fun (and help give some of us ideas) if you post your most wished for games (w/ platform) in one thread.

Number 1 on my list is Prince of Persia (PS3)

A distant second is Tomb Raider, and I was disappointed the Lord of the Rings Conquest release date was pushed back to January 09.

I was told rent PoP its a very short game... less than a day to complete.. TR only a few days to complete..

mind you this is just what I was told.. though the person said they were both great games..

Yes, a lot of the reviews have also said PoP a relatively short game, but it's still gotten a cumulative score of 87 on metacritic.com Prince of Persia (ps3: 2008): Reviews
85 for the 360 version.

From what different reviewers have said, it seems pretty accessible for a casual gamer like myself.

TR's only gotten a 76.

Yeah but that may make it a better Gamefly candidate. Do you want to have a game that you beat in a week that has very little replay value? Then again, when it's a gift at least you don't have to feel like you wasted any money.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) I already have all the games that I want. I recently got Gears of War 2, Guitar Hero: World Tour, Rock Band 2... I may try and get LBP, but I could always just hold on to it from Gamefly and then "keep it" once the price gets low.

Resistance 2 has been sitting opened for over a month...no time to play until the X-Mas holiday. Other than R2, I ordered LittleBigPlanet and The Simpson's Game (PS3) for our little one this Christmas.

Little Big Planet is the only one on my list at this point... might try to pick up LOTR Conquest for myself next month, depending on reviews, demo, etc.

But I'm not complaining..... Playing Fallout 3 now... with Gears of War 2, Call of Duty: World at War, The orange Box, Scene It: Box Office Smash, and World Series of Poker 2008 all sure to keep me busy this winter....

Haven't been able to treat myself recently because Santa has to come down the chimney, but after X-mas I'm looking at: R2, COD-World at War, and Motorstorm 2.

I'm not much of a gamer, but I kinda want Mortal Kombat VS DC Universe. Seems like a good guy's drinking night game ala Fight Night 3.
