While I'm enjoying this show and moving along, 2/3rds the way thru Season 2 and I have to stop because I'm using way too much Data ...
I will be going to the ISP office today, I will NOT add $30 a month to my bill for Unlimited data.

Well, what do you know ... they were very helpful ... thats not always the case.
They gave me Unlimited for 3 months free.

Just started Season 5 since the last episode is this Wednesday, is it me or is the show a lot darker then normal, have the TV on the Brighter setting and on Bright HDR, but still had to turn the lights out to be able to see everything, only on this show is it a issue.

Can't say I've noticed it.

TCL 8 Series, I doubt it is the TV since everything else looks fine.

I wasn't so much thinking the TV , more like a possible Setting.

I have issues with Fox baseball coverage thats in HDR, its really darker than it should be ... but any other stuff in HDR is fine.

I'm only Starting Season 3, but picture quality is GREAT !

What happens if you turn the HDR Off (if its possible, on my Sony it is an option along with several other 4k settings).
Keep in mind, this is still done in UHD ... so its still 4k.
Most of the stuff I have watched is done in UHD on AP.

Started watching the latest season tonight. Forgot AppleTv had HDR and Dolby Atmos. Not much Atmos effects so far though. First couple episodes fits in with what I remember from the books.

It departs quite a bit from the book, though in some part due to time constraints. I’d say it did alter a couple things it didn’t need to alter regarding details and exposition while altering a couple other things notably. The part I don’t like is they aren’t being upfront with exposition which leads to characters making decisions without even providing notification of it to the viewer of why or when they made this case.

Without giving details, I’d say Marco’s character (and plan) is flattened dimensionally. At times they try to make Marcos more cerebral, but it overall is flat and unfair to the character. This impacts Filip’s character as well. I was also disappointed with what I felt could have been an entire episode around Naomi, both her past history and present situation.

I still have 2 episodes to go.

I'm half way through season 5. Been a few years since I read this part of the books so I know I don't remember every little thing but it does seem they are hitting the high points of the story in the show.

Bull used a pejorative term "skinnies" to refer to Belters.

The Belter that Avasarala had strung up in the First episode of the First Season was pretty close, as was one of prostitutes who was teaching the Belter's language to Miller's Earther partner. In the books, Naomi is portrayed as taller than Holden.

Yes, I forgot about that in the first episode. They seem to have settled on the ink to differentiate the belters since then.
