So I get 290 channels for $78 bucks a month, which means that $73 cover 289 channels @ about .25 per channel and $5 covers that one other channel, the Blaze?? Wow!

I am not sure why you think that. The Blaze does appear in the guide for my AT 250 subscription. it has since the Blaze was added to DISH. I think that is why the earlier poster suggested thata true replacement would have to be included with that package.

It is probably too early to expect this but has DISH annou ced any plans for a replacement in the AT 250?

The only way I can get CNN International is via streaming on the Roku/Fire TV live. If I have a sub to CNN on Dish, the CNN Headline news & CNN I is free. But no DVR is available. BBC World is available elsewhere too, but I do have some DVR function on Philo.
Yes, but not cheap to get. It should be in AT250. I paid the $10 a month extra for the news pack, but BBC World was the only channel not in AT250. I have no idea why BBC World is not in AT250, as it is in regular packs on Spectrum as well as Direct.
I guess we are going to get the Black News Channel in Jan. Never heard of it.
Thanks. I see some articles discussing this. Not sure what tier it will be on but perhaps it will be in all tiers the Blaze was on. Since it hast launched yet none of us really knows what it will be like J.C. Waats (former republican congressman) is involved. he is conservative but hasa reputation for both fairness and intelligence so I would not expect it to reflect his personal viewpoints----but we will see.
Here is a list of channels in the AT 250at no additional charge. The Blaze is included. The Blaze is a part of the News pack (as are Fox News and MSNBC) but that means that folks on lower tiers can get it as well----until Dec 31.

Wow, Dish is going to add the "Black News Channel" instead of One America News? I am so glad that I dropped Dish several months ago and replaced it with DirecTV. DirecTV is better in every way and already carries OAN.

It's all demographics. Eyeballs post ratings, but those eyeballs have to buy what the advertiser is selling or the advertiser walks.....and well, they have. Target Demo was not a profitable demo....and absent regular subscriber fees from mass distribution, not gonna survive.
we do not know they wont carry that channel. We simply know that they already agreed to carry BNC.
Since JC Watts is the head guy it piqued my interest. I clicked on their "who we are" and saw that Larry Elder was also onboard. This may very different from what you might imagine.
I certainly reserve my judgement.
Yeah, that certainly changes the likely perspective of the channel vs my initial expectations based only on the name.
