I'd like to correct a little your explanation of the process of upgrading receiver SW.

I would add - the filter(s) have multiple criteria: prev version, BC, BS and R00xxxx numbers. Could be little complicated for regular ppl, but better provide full picture of facts, then different level understanding could interpret properly after short or long period of thinking .

Okay that still sounds to me like you are just "putting words together".

I would, however, also like to add my thanks all the same to Smith and RandallA for trying to put a complex process into English.
