I live in the Charleston, SC (Summerville) area and am contemplating on purchasing a Terrestrial Digital V-21 antenna. Most towers are in the 30 mile range, with the exception of a new station, which is 8+ miles. Has anyone had any experience with this particular antenna? I welcome any input. Thanks.

Looks like all your channels are above 7, so the 2-6 part of this antenna would be a waste, plus all your signals are fairly strong, so you don't need the largest antenna unless you plan on splitting the signal a couple of times.

It looks to me like these are the same antennas that Antennas Direct builds (the names have not even been changed to protect the innocent).

I am not familiar with the quality of the V series, but the 91-XG is considered one of the best UHF antennas around.

Yes, on the TVFool report it shows the real channel and the virtual channel in parenthesis ( ), channel 2.1 is really on channel 50 RF.

2 preamps?

UHF/VHF on DiSEqC switch?
