It seems to me that the broadcast of the Australian Open on ESPN2HD has a much "cripser" picture than the broadcasts on TennisHD. Am I imagining things or do they broadcast differently?

I would agree. Not sure why thats the case but your right on the money.

Neither channel is showing it in hd. It is upconverted.
