I live in So Cal, (zip 91320) and I want to know if I get a setp with Telstar 18 at 138.0°E to get STAR ASIA SPORTS AND ESPN TAIWAN, BOTH FTA per LYNGSAT. Has anyone already have this set up? Are you able to watch these channels?

You're on the wrong side of the globe for that bird.

Surprisingly, that question does come up every few months.
But as said above, those birds are on the other side of the planet.
All satellites visible to us, are in the 30ºW to 160ºW (give or take a little)....
.... with the big emphasis on the W (west).
