My bet is, that if they do allow more than 1 h3 per account it would be $15 per month for the extra h3.
Just like it is if you have 2 H1's or 2 H2's (unless you're grandfathered).

Thanks for the information. Now we all know exactly what the switch is for.DPH 42 SWITCH
With the release of the Hopper 3 in early 2016, there were several scenarios in which a Hopper 3 was unable to be installed. The release of the 76cm Antenna Bracket on November 17, 2016, enabled us to satisfy Non-CONUS customers wanting the Hopper 3.
On June 6, 2017, we will be launching the DISH Pro Hybrid (DPH) 42 Switch. This switch allows for greater equipment flexibility, and will support the remaining Subscribers who are currently unable to obtain a Hopper 3.
INSTALLATION SCENARIOS
The DPH 42 Switch supports the following installation scenarios:
- Customers in a Non-CONUS location.
- Customers within a Low Beam area which requires a 24” or 30” dish.
- Customers whose Programming requires 77°°
INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
- Even though they are both Hybrid components the DPH LNBFs WILL NOT work with a DPH 42.
- The supplied power inserter must be connected to Receiver Satellite In port 1 of the DPH 42.
- The power inserter is required and is NOT optional.
- In a Hopper installation, the power inserter may be connected between the Hopper and the DPH Hub and/or a DPH Tap.
- Approved RG-6 cable required.
- Weather caps, not terminators, must be used for sealing off all unused ports on the switch.
- Weather caps have a flat top and are pre-installed on the switch.
- A Solo Hub or Duo Hub must be used for all Hopper receivers.
Then may my two HWSes have long lives. At least until Dish has receivers where I can have two on account, for redundancy, and will read my current EHDs.
Of course, the CUI may have me running! Not!
They'll be even slower with the new interface too. Not a lot and not unusably slow, but you will likely notice a slight impact.very slow HWS

Yeah, good luck with that, Dish. If they do away with Flex Pack, and that is the only offer they make me, then I will just switch back to Welcome Pack to ride out my commitment.Hopefully, but I wouldn't get my hopes up. This is DISH and they can change anything by way of programming increases and FEE increases any time they want to. It is in their agreement you get when you take DISH . Most likely, if they do away with the FLEX pack , they will give you the option of adding either top 120 ,200 or top 250 and you will only get the $10.00 discount on the price for the remaining months of your commitment.
I just looked at the Dish advertisement flyers that came in the junk mail this week. While they are still promoting an offer that looks very much like Flex Pack, I did not see the words "Flex Pack" anywhere in the ad. (Or at least, it wasn't featured very prominently if the name of the pack was listed. I did not look very closely at the ad to try to find the name of the package.) So, this could be a sign of things to come, or it could mean nothing.New promotional period hasn't started yet. Look for changes if they really want to drop The Flex pack then.
Can I get an amen!Never make a change in Dish (or anywhere) based on "promised" features.
What did P.T. Barnum say about 'suckers' ?Never make a change in Dish (or anywhere) based on "promised" features.
What did he say?
There's a sucker born every minute...
When Barnum's biographer, Arthur H. Saxon, tried to track down when Barnum had uttered this phrase, he was unable to verify it. According to Saxon, "There's no contemporary account of it, or even any suggestion that the word 'sucker' was used in the derogatory sense in his day. Barnum was just not the type to disparage his patrons."[1]
Some sources claim the quote is most likely from famous con-man Joseph ("Paper Collar Joe") Bessimer,[2] and other sources say it was actually uttered by David Hannum, spoken in reference to Barnum's part in the Cardiff Giant hoax.[citation needed] Hannum, who was exhibiting the "original" giant and had unsuccessfully sued Barnum for exhibiting a copy and claiming it was the original, was referring to the crowds continuing to pay to see Barnum's exhibit even after both it and the original had been proven to be fakes.
Another source credits late 1860s Chicago "bounty broker, saloon and gambling-house keeper, eminent politician, and dispenser of cheating privileges..." Michael Cassius McDonald as the originator of the aphorism. According to the book Gem of the Prairie: Chicago Underworld (1940) by Herbert Asbury, when McDonald was equipping his gambling house known as The Store (at Clark and Monroe Streets in Chicago) his partner Harry Lawrence expressed concern over the large number of roulette wheels and faro tables being installed and their ability to get enough players to play the games. McDonald then allegedly said, "Don't worry about that, there's a sucker born every minute"
After 20 years with DISH, I have to say this is very , very good advice.Never make a change in Dish (or anywhere) based on "promised" features.
Given what has been reported, yes!So would the DPH42 allow me to use a Hopper 3 on my present satellite dish configuration?
