Tailgater question

If I get a tailgater antenna would I be able to just take and use it with a receiver from home when I go camping?

it only works with a 211 receiver. But if you have a 211 receiver (and I think with the correct software, not exactly sure on the software part, but would make sense) then yes...

While generic models get thrown around a lot, in this case it is important to be clear that the required receiver for the Tailgater is the VIP211K

Brussam is correct. Very important to know that it's the 211K only. The system works great. I just used it tailgating this last Saturday.

Yes you are able to add the EHD to the 211k.

I've got it on mine. I haven't tried it tailgating yet. I didn't bring the hard drive with me. You need to make sure you have enough power and outlets for the TV, receiver and hard drive.
