Outside of Louisville, ky had snow all day with no issues. Snow has stopped but slight rain and now system says signal out moving to internet.
Anyone else seeing this?

Yes, I had that issue in the past. LNB & Dish are covered with snow, sleet and ice... you have to clean them..
I live in Georgetown, KY. We had about 6 inch soft snow. It is sleet now. Praying ice won't reach us. Dish is working fine so far.

After power outage, stuck on acquiring signal
What can be done till snow and ice melts?
Nothing unless you have some way to clean off the dish.

Another POSSIBLE cause is if you have any barrels outdoors or a cut/slice in the cable that could allow water to get in, that could have corroded the connector.

Odds are it is snow/ice build up on the Dish/LNB.

That is what I thought. Can't reach the dish, on the roof. Will have to wait for it to thaw

Did I imagine my H3 switching to a streaming channel of the satellite channel I was watching on Dish when weather knocked out the satellite feed?
No.

This is called Signal Protector. If you are internet connected and have this feature enabled, you will be automatically switched to the IP feed (if available) when signal loss occurs.

This is what I am trying to get it to do, but it won't go past acquiring signal. Shows that on all 3 tuners of my hws.
Is there a way to force it to use the internet?
