Swap HDD in DirecTivo?

I know that as far as regular Tivo units are concerned we can make an image of the existing HDD and load it into a larger capacity unit and then swap that larger unit in. Is there any reason to think that the same would not be possible with the DirecTivo units?

If all you want is a capacity upgrade look here, and search for Hinsdale. This is the best method out there. If you would like to activate other features PM me. Also if you want me to do it for you, I will ... for a nominal fee .
