SW44 switch

I have a SW44 multi-dish switch and would like to know if you have to have all four connection made or can you set it up like 1A and 2A inputs only. I have tryed just hocking up two cables but i get nothing on my rcvr but if i take the cable off and place it directly onto the rcvr with no switch I pick up the signal on each on.

Yes, you need all four- 1a and 1b hook to the 91 LNB and the 2a and 2b hook to the 82 LNB
