Survivor: Redemption Island

That would be Rob's best argument as to why the jury should vote for him, "I kept Phillip in the game so you [the jury] wouldn't have to deal with him back at the Ponderosa. Think how much happier you were without him there"

:D

I tell you, I sure how somebody from Omatepe ends up being the person who comes back into the game, and not a zap who makes it to the final three, otherwise, the Ome's could be in trouble.

But wow -- those girls just are blinded by Rob. They had the perfect opportunity to flip the game.

It did seem pretty darn easy for him to find the shorts. Either they told him where they were or he isn't crazy after all and he can speak to his dead family... ;)

Well, to be fair, I think it was a very physical puzzle. They all looked pretty pooped and I think that Rob used everything he had to win. He has a pretty big target on his back right now and I wouldn't be surprised to see him go soon.

Going back to my comment about Philip from before it appears I may have been right. Maybe he really is playing a game. I have a feeling that the "tribal speech" he referenced last night is exactly what I predicted (ie the only way I could get to the end was by acting crazy and making people think I was a good person to take to the end). This is a strategy that hasn't been used before and it may pay off for him. The only problem is that he may take it a little too far and end up being so annoying that he gets himself voted off. At this point, I hope he makes it to the end so I can see what he has to say to the jury.

And Rob seems like he might be on to Phillip.

As far as the challenge, it looked like the 3 who were trying were hot and tired as well. I thought Rob did a great job, but overplayed it a little bit after it was over. He should have told the others they did a great job and ask how they were feeling. The fact they helped him, just goes to show how much respect he really does have from his team. Now, will they let him get to the end?

You guys are a tough crowd. It was 110 outside, they have barely eaten for 30 days (did you see how skinny he looks compared to when it started). That was sheer determination, pushing it to the limit, and darn close to heat exhaustion. I'm surprised they didn't bring it medical immediately.

He will have to be on his game. 5 left, plus 1 more coming back, but we don't know when; talk about some drama to come.

I agree rocky. I'm sure that if I went and ran up those stairs in 80 degree weather I'd be about to puke, let alone being over 100 degrees. Also, I'm sure it is hard to stay fully hydrated when you are drinking water that has to be boiled for a month.
