I 100% agree with the lack of water challenges being an issue. Those are always better (to me). I hope that they learn from this going forward and choose their location a bit more carefully with this in mind. Also agree that this season has been pretty boring. Hopefully the merge shakes things up a bit.
Just find a location with a nice lake that they can use.
I miss the water challenges as they add a variety, and have the addition of needed a water skill.

I'm not going to tag since it is the next day...
Wasted idol. Guess that means it is going back out for grabs. The game could easily henge on who finds that idol. I would be surprised if the hillbilly is able to stumble into it again.
I actually feel kinda bad for Rob, even if he makes it to the final 3 there is no way that they are going to vote for him unless everyone absolutely hates the people he is there with (which just doesn't seem likely right now). Things can obvioulsy change, but I feel like the only chance he had would have been going to the finals with someone like Russell. He is playing a very good game right now though.
I'm confused about how redemption island is going to work for this part of the game. Surely they aren't going to leave someone out there for the whole game. Doesn't seem like it would be worth it as you wouldn't have any of the relationships at the end. Of course, I guess that could help you too as you wouldn't be pissing anyone off. If Matt had to spend the entire time out there and won all the way up to the end, I'd consider voting for him to win the million for sure...

Just my gut, but I suspect they will bring someone back in at the top 5 or 6, but who knows. I still think its AWESOME that Matt got the boot again.
I'm right there with you rocky. It was the smart thing to do for sure. I still feel bad for the guy. If you want to come play survivor you don't really expect to go sit by yourself the majority of the time.
Too bad it seems like he didn't come out to play Survivor. He sure as hell doesn't get it........

Yeah, Jeff mentioned in one of his blogs that David is very very smart (I think he said that David scored the highest IQ of anyone on Survivor - or maybe it was just this season of Survivor, not sure). Either way, he "gets it" for sure.
I actually expected to see him make some kind of back room move against the Zapheads, but I guess he's waiting until the time is right in his mind. Unfortunately it might be too late by then.
