Survivor: Cook Islands

This last episode smoked... Now I want Adam and Candice to get their asses voted off... Now 4-4 or 5-3 depending where Jonathan feels he is at. I think this is great (that Jonathan flipped). The other way around would have been very boring.

Yup, nothing worse than when a tribe gets decimated to the man -- or should I say woman -- thinking of Stephanie a year and a half ago.

Jonathan's switch most definitely makes the wait for Thursday one of anticipation. But now the former Raro members will be seriously trying to win immunity! But compared with the Ozster and Yul, he is a wuss. :D

It is going to be interesting this week. I wonder if anyone in the old Aitu will flip this week just to get rid of Yul's idol. Because if not, it would be boring for the next 2 weeks. Even if Jonathan flips again this week, it would be 4 against 4 at the tribal council and worst come to worst, the idol would be used. Next week, Raro would have 3, and Johnathan would be next to go unless he got immunity.

If no one flips, then Raro would just be eliminated one by one, probably in this order: Candice, Adam, Poverty.

There is really nothing Candice or Adam can do. Poverty, on the other hand, might have a shot. If she could somehow seduced Ozzy and told him that he cannot be in Yul's shadow all the time. She might have a chance to get Ozzy to vote off Yul's idol this week. It would be a game strategy to take away Yul's idol. After that it would be very interesting game next week. You got Yul and Becky, Ozzy and Poverty trying to ally with the rest of the people. Either Adam or Candice would be gone this week, and whoever didn't get voted out will go with Ozzy and Poverty. Johnathan will go with Yul and Becky because Ozzy hated him. And then it would be all up to Sundra to be tie breaker! Heh ;)

I don't know if Pavrati is smart enough to do it, but the fact that Yul has the idol, and other's know it will probably force it to be used for the first time. And that makes the game much more interesting!

Ok, I have been rooting for Yul since the begnning, but WTF? Why on earth did he reveal his card? For the life of me, I can not figure out how that will help him in the end. If anything I think it will come back to bite him in the ass, BEFORE the final four.

Then he tells Becky his concerns about how he wins at the final two -- suggesting that SHE won't be there. Stupid move of the day #2.

Still, another excellent episode. How about the dining scene? Then the "cancer" and "rat" at Tribal. I found the idea of vote for Jonathan now, and we'll remember when we are on the jury, to be interesting, but mostly silly. In the end, they are going to have to vote for one of the Aitu players... and I think Yul has largely played with integrity.

And we really do have three tribes -- Adam/Pavrati (will he hook up with her now?); the Yul four, and Jonathan.

Sweet Sweet B*** Candice is out :D . I enjoyed it ..... I am LOL.... I am histerical that she is out. Next Adam boy...will take his smile to the jury...

If you don't vote for Jonathan, we won't vote for you as a Jury... sheesh
Yul did have a lapse in judgement revealing the idol... and I liked the dining scene where Candice (who played with integrity:rolleyes: )called everyone out....:D

Yeah, Candice dug her own grave by calling everyone out. Interesting to see if Parvity makes her move on Adam now that she is gone.

I think I know why Yul reveals that he got the idol. If I remember correctly it was right after Candice was picked to go to Exile Island. I think Yul was trying to be the nice guy and don't want Candice (or anyone else later on) to waste time searching for it at this point of the game. He revealed it right after Candice said "I think I have a good idea where to look for it."

I actually think Yul might lose in the end. He is trying to be too nice and play the game with too much integraty. He really should have voted out Jonathan first. He may not even lose Jonathan's vote in the end. Now if Ozzy and Yul ended up in the final 2, I think Oz might get more votes. Oz is keeping a low profile and I think that is very smart.

But it does feel good to see Candice go. ;)

I agree that it will be a long-shot for Yul to win; particularly since Ozzy has put on such a strong game, while being more under the radar. AND because Yul has played his card, all the others have to do is have a sacrifice vote. Vote for Yul; and the person with the second highest votes goes home; BUT Yul loses the idol.

The key to that is timing. Get rid of Adam and Pavrati; and then do the play as Yu vs. Jonathan, and then Jonathan goes home, and Yul has to WIN immunity to be sure of his place from that point forward.

BUT there is at least one more twist to this game: CBS has announced that rather than a final four; there is a final five this year. Now - what does that mean? How does it change the game.

The show is scheduled -- according to Survivor Fever -- to conclude on Dec 17th; that gives two shows before the two hour show; right now there are seven players; assuming the Final FIVE is true, then one contestant will be taken out each show, leaving five for the final two hours. That will be a pretty wild set of tribals!

I am actually really surprised that Adam won the last immunity challenge! He would have been the last person I expected to win it. That challenge has nothing to do with physical strength or endurance. It was all about memory. I fully expected one of the girls to win.

The one that got booted was more "book smart" I think. She was unaware of her surroundings. The other girl is just plain annoying and dumb.

I think Jon goes tonight.

"I'd like my hat back at some point, goodnight kids"
myself it would /should have been
Adam as he is younger and could win immunity's... plus Jonathon would get no votes if he made it to
the final 3 (new twist for this time around)

Interesting episode. I would not have liked to have had to do that immunity challenge. I was surprised Sundra wasn't seriously injured by that fall.

Not surprised by the Tribal, although I am not sure that it was the best move. I think I would have taken out Adam. More of a threat at challenges.
