Super Joey locking up

My super joey keeps locking up, basically it does not respond to commands from the remote. I have had to restart it three times over the last month. Hardware problem, software problem, anyone else having this problem? Sure is goofing up my scheduled recordings during all these restarts..Thanks for any help in this

Yes they become unusable until I do a reset. Then I also notice double recordings of the same program and when I select the first of the two programs to watch the screen goes black, I go to the next one in line and it is there so I delete the first one. I chose the Super Joey to go with my hopper with sling as a add on just recently to my system so as to add these additional tuners to the system. When it works it works just great.
