Thanks for all the handy tips, but I screwed up on my question, so I will try again:
I have two 622's. I will call them 622-1 and 622-2. I want to use the #2 remote of 622-2 to control 622-1 just like the #1 remote does. Is that possible?
To answer the OP's "intended" question, I think we need more information.
Are you wanting to use IR or RF?
Do you currently use it for TV2 (or TV1) on 622-2?
Are you wanting to use it for TV1 or TV2 on 622-1?
Hello!!! You were the one that asked for more info. Can you see my extended digit to you (No, not a thumbs up.)? If you said that to me in person I would have decked you, but I guess you can hide and act like an a$$hole here.Wow, I didn't think it could get much worse than your OP. Your inability to cogently describe what you're trying to do is breathtaking.
If you want to use the 622-2 TV2 remote with 622-1 TV1, you just need to install a green key in the remote.
Here's a link to the manual: http://dishnetwork.com/downloads/pdf/user_guides_and_manuals/remotes/6_3_RemoteManual.pdf
And I did so by asking very specific questions to which I was hoping to get direct answers (preferably line-by-line).You were the one that asked for more info.
