strange things have been happening to my VIP 722

it has been recording shows i dont watch or programed to record! i saw moonlight in the recorded list and it was scheduled to record again. i havent even heard of that show! it had two minutes of paid programming. whenever i turn it off it turns on by itself. i dont think it was anyone in my house because they really dont know how to use the DVR functions.

do you think it could be the neighbors? i noticed they got dish network and my window is facing their house. hmmmm.

Yes quickly... before the neighbors order up some PPV porn and it gets charged to your account. Could be funny tho. Especially if the neighbors are the family-values church going types

Along the same line. I have a VIP722, I've changed the remote freq (twice) and Dish just upgraded to this 722 from the 622 with the same issue. I get recorded shows that I didn't program, I assume from the neighbor. Will go away but come back after a few days. Any thoughts, DISH said they did all they can do.

How close is your neighbor bvalente?! Maybe when you address it addresses your neighbors. I've seen it happen with 381 and 625 in the same house. Removing the ANT from one receiver and addressing the other one solves it but your neighbor?

Are you talking about just recorded shows or changing channels by itself?
