Wow thats crazy dont these people belive in off site redundancy. You would think they would have atleast two POPs to distribute programming, but with the high costs of creating high def pops I could see why they only have one
Just got this statment from Dish Network regarding the outtage that has taken A&E HD, History Channel HD and NFL HD offline.
At least I'm not the only one with the Lip Sync issue on History HD.I will miss the Lip Sync issue.

I wonder if the fire wiped out their inventory of programming. If so this could be very bad.
Depends on if they operate under the same rules as we do with our external backup storage. If I take my backup offsite I can't watch it.If they were smart, they had off-site backups of their programming,
And yet they don't say a word about the fire and the missing programming .
in order to put it into a bit of perspective, let's hope no one was hurt (either employees or firefighters) in the fire, I think that is a bit more important than the missing programming for a day, week, or whatever.
