Based on the "Jedi Purge" and "birth of the rebellion" years between Ep3 and Ep4.
So far its looking good. Wouldnt be surprised if it introduces some characters that
will show up in Episode7.

Crap. I don't sub to Disney XD. I guess I'll just hope this ends up on Netflix Streaming at some point, like many other Disney/ABC shows do.

Not sure why the author in the article linked in the OP questioned the casting choice of Freddie Prinze Jr. He does do voice work now, including in one of my all time favorite video games, Mass Effect 3, where he plays Lt. James Vega (below). They also created a feature length cartoon centered on this character, called "Paragon Lost". And he'll be in the forthcoming Dragon Age Inquisition.
