The puck to the face was wicked, surprised he got up after that one. Additionally, did you see Gonchar plant his face into the board. Yikes! All I could think was, "that's gotta hurt" after that one. You hate you see anyone get hurt, but for non-hockey fans...that's why these guys get paid the big bucks. I don't you're gonna see those two return for the 3rd period.
Speaking of pucks to the face...at least Malone didn't take a shot of the stick of Lindstrom. If I saw Lindstrom winding up from in front of the blue line, I would be ducking for cover.
Wings had several good opportunies (Pens too for that matter), but they aren't hitting their passes as was mentioned, and so far Fleury has been solid.
Wings need to step up and light up the board twice in the 3rd and take the Cup!

I wonder what part og Gonchars body does NOT hurt.
When he went into the boards, it looked like he went head/face first, probably shoulder as well.
Normally you'll see something like this happen and they come back out and finish the game, thats a HOCKEY player, toughest players in any sport.

Wings need to go after it right from the beginning of the third and put pressure on Flurey, hopefully score quickly.
No more turnovers, Wings have given the Pens about 10-15 extra chances with thier poor puck management tonight.
And to think, the Pens lead because the Wings D scored on Ozzie, hope that doesn't come back to bite him.

No idea what Lindstrom's shot registers, he's never in the slap shot comitition at the all star games.

I don't know even non-hockey fans would not enjoy how this game is being played right now! Damn, even my wife is on the edge of her seat and she's not a hockey fan at all. My 4 year daughter (she's my hockey buddy)is running around yelling "We want the cup". She gets extended bedtimes for nights like this.
