cant wait for the season to end, geting sickof all you fawning over wings!

I can't wait for the season to end with a Red Wings victory! Except for baseball, golf and an occasionaly fight, like Pulver versus (no pun intended) Faber on Versus this evening, there are no other sports until the college football kickoff in August.

My local NBC HD went SD in the 2nd period and stayed that way the rest of the game. Was this a local or NBC nationwide problem?

I'm a Sabres fan, Sandra's a Rangers fan.

We have different teams that we like.

Don't act like we're all Red Wing fans.

Yep and even if I wasn't a Wings fan, I'd still be enjoying the Finals, cause I just like hockey in general and to watch how Pens/Wings is playing out, sure it's fun to be a wings fan, but if you enjoy hockey at all, it still fun to watch.

All I can think is the pens faithful must feel like I did back in 1995 when the Devils stomped the wings every which way in the final after Detroit breezed through the previous rounds. I had such high hopes going in, devils quickly smashed it.

Very well put. This is exactly how I (Bruins fan) feel. I appreciate great hockey and that's what the Wings have provided throughout the playoffs (and the whole season for that matter).

the world doesn't revolve round detroit and the local economy their proves it

although d-town probably was built in a day

id like to see a 7 game series with a penguins victory!:up

Chara, Savard, Sturm, and Thomas aren't going anywhere for a while.
(Although that Thornton trade was REALLY stupid)

Buffalo, on the other hand has let go of Drury, Briere, Campbell, Grier, Dumont, McKee, and Biron.

IMO, the Sabres MUST hold on to Vanek, Afinogenov, and Miller, plus add some players.

If Buffalo pulls off a firesale and cleans house and gets rid of EVERYBODY ala the Capitals a few years ago, I'm gonna burn my only Sabres jersey.

To me, Regier has taken a monster step backwards. He needs to take some step forwards.

well the hockey news here was that prep star Blake Wheeler drafted after junior year high school then went on to THE U(hockey) has denied his contract offer with the Yotes and is now a free agent.

Im also hearing rumors melrose to replace tortarella as Ning Coach.

Oh well if red wings win thankfully september is right around the corner

Not sure, but it has been spouting flames since the Western Conference finals, if not earlier in the playoffs. It's pretty darn impressive IMO.

Wings are not connecting on their passes very well tonight, I hope that improves, they look silly not being able to pass from point A to point B.

We have to play against our own D tonight as well, as Kronwall scored for the Pens, so it's Pens 1 Wings 1 and Kronwell 1.and a POST ..
