It's now about 8 p.m. Eastern time. For the last hour or so, I only hear sputtering for audio on the HD channels. Audio is fine on the other channels. Not a cable issue. And yes, even the shows recorded during this time are sputtering. Popping in and out, impossible to make out anything.

Transmit problem? If so, why don't I see someone else reporting this happening? If not, what could be the problem?

ViP622 > Onkyo 805 > JVC DiLA RPTV using HDMI cables.

Anyone else seeing (hearing) this?

FYI, check switch is fine for 110, 119 & 61.5.

Signal strengths are around 60 for 61.5, slightly higher for 110, around 70 for 119.

I have noticed this on the HD channels lately. Do we require a better signal for HD content rather then SD? I have not checked the signal strength lately but I will when I get home.

I am having a similar problem lately only on HD channels. The audio drops completely, but only on HD channels. I have an Onkyo 605 receiver connected via HDMI to a 622 and a Panasonic 50" LCD RP.

A soft boot corrects the problem and hasn't, as far as I can tell, affected recordings.

I have adjusted the audio settings on the 622 as well as the receiver to no avail. The receiver works fine with all other inputs, including an Xbox360 also connected via HDMI.

A simple re-boot of the receiver has fixed the audio glitch for me in the past on a 622 and 722.

With the receiver ON press and hold the power on the front panel for 10 seconds or until you see the unit shut down. At this point just leave the receiver alone, it'll come back on and go through all the "Searching for Satellite Signal", downloading guide, etc, etc. ....once complete your audio glitch should be resoved.

Yes, I figured I'd try a reboot- but my wife was recording something. If Mama ain't happy, ......

I might get a chance to try it tonight.

Thank you.

Well, I got home and all was well, without my initiating a reboot. Maybe it rebooted itself overnight.
