Click on The List! tab near the top of the page and then Subscription List Home. Click on one of the satellites (110/119/129/61.5/72.7) and look for the city of choice. Once located, click on the spotbeam listed for that city to get an estimated spotbeam coverage map to see if London appears to be within the beam. To know for sure, note the transponder number the locals are on. Go to your receiver to the point dish screen Menu 6 1 1, change Satellite to the satellite of interest, and change Transponder to the number from The List. If you get a locked signal, Transponder changes to Spotbeam, and a signal in the upper 20s or better, you can likely receive the programming in that city's DMA. You'll be limited to whatever is available on the satellites you are able to receive. There are several DMAs on ConUS beams on 77. You can get the HD locals from any of those without any problems by "moving to that DMA. They will likely stay ConUS until a new satellite makes its way there in the next year or so. Are you looking for HD locals or something else?

Do the 6,1,1 thing and go to 110 and then transponder 29. If you lock on spotbeam 11, you are able to get both Birmingham and Huntsville. It would appear that you are right on the edge and it is very iffy.
