split dish 500 - switch question?

I have a dish 500 pointed at 110/119 with a legacy quad LNB (4 connectors 2 for 110 and 2 for 119). I also had another dish pointed at 61.5 with a legacy dual LNB ( 2 connectors for 61.5). Due to tree issues I need to use two dishes to get 110 and 119. So I decided to give up the 61.5 (it was only a single PBS channel left on 61.5 anyway). So I used the old 61.5 dish with the legacy dual lnb to point at 110 and the dish 500 with legacy quad to point at 119. I now have great signal on each of 110 and 119 (signal greater than 120 on each). But it now seems I have a switch problem. I tried to use the SW21 switch with the cable from the legacy quad pointed at 119 goint into the switch dish 1 input and the legacy dual pointed at 110 going into the switch dish 2 input, but when I run check swith I cannot get both satellites... Should I be using a different switch?

You will need to replace the Quad with a Legacy dual on the 119 side . The Quad has a switch built in and your receivers don't know what signal to choose. You are actually sending 2 110 signals to the receiver 1 from the Quad and 1 from the dish 300(SW21). If you have only 2 receivers you will need 2 SW-21s if more you will need SW44 or SW64 switches.
