Last I knew of was the DPP Twin designed for the WA. What is Hybrid?

They need something for the Hopper. Things are a lot different than when we were in the business!

I can't find a good one but it looks like an Eastern Arc but about 1/2 the size

Hybrid is a type of lnb that can allow up to 16 channels to be accessed simultaneously and is necessary for the Hopper 3 (there is also a switch that can do this).

Yes that switch is the DPH 42 switch.

As I recall DPP bandstacks everything onto a single coax, and with the DPP Twin or Triple a ViP receiver can tune any 2 channels simultaneously from both or 2 of 3 locations from the single coax. So it must be switching to only send what's needed and not all signals from all locations all the time. So I would guess that Hybrid would simply be more sophisticated switching to allow more channels at once from any (either) location

Since there will be no more 118 sat in a few months, why did they even bother with this re-design of the DPH 42...now that both arcs will only need 2 sat positions for all programing going forward?
