Splicing the Cable?

I know its not the best thing to do but Im going to have to splice a cable to the dish. Anyone every done it? Cable will have to be burried. Any Suggestions?

Yes... but be sure and get a 2ghz or better barrel connector to put it back in one piece...

I got you. The barrels would be for RG6 Coax. Could I just solder the other wires and use silicone to waterproof?

Solder or stacon then scotch 33 tape but thats here where its not that wet, silicone should work...or maybe heat shrinks...
