Special Test Channels 9300 and 9301: Tonight!!! 9/22/2007 at 10pm PT

This hour NatGeo is showing an HD program, looks damn good. I hope D* keeps this PQ up on all the new HD channels.

9301 is not currently showing HD, its upconverted.

Mine is stretched also, also it is not as clear as the SD version.

I tested Friday night and was able to get successful test on 480 and 481, and I had a congrats screen on 498 saying I'm ready for HD. I'll test 9300 and 9301 tonight.

9300 & 9301 coming in nicely. We just had a storm pass through, so I dont know if that was what forced me to reset my HR20-100 to receive Sat 2, but the channels work for me.

I noticed that Cash Cab was filmed in SD but the broadcast is in HD, so while the show itself looked like SD the graphics were sharp and in HD. For what its worth.

I've had it on 9301 for the last few hours; just dropped down to 9300 (which I could see earlier) and there is nothing. Went back to 9301 just fine. Also, I can hear music on channel 498 for the first time. It all seems a little odd, but I am sure they will get it right eventually!

Good siginal 9300 / 9301

D just swapped out my multiswitch and evertything is geetting siginal and looking good. I'm sure that the quilty will just improve with time as they tweak the uplinks and satellite. But whats up in the test looks damn good. I'm located at 92832 LA area.

yup, i live in upsate NY and I get the Channel not purchased on 9301
