Greetings and welcome to another SatelliteGuys Retailer Chat Recap.

This is supposed to be a special chat with some big news, dont know if this is big news for retailers or consumers... as always we will only cover the stuff of interest to the consumers.

This chat will include...

Brand Marketing,
Equipment Price Changes,
Marketing...

Brian and Amir are in suits. and they open up with James Moorhead who is the Chief Marketing Officer.

He is talking about Serving the customer and building the brand... nothing interesting yet... More inspirational then informational so far..
 
They aim to bring to life the Hoppers Overwhelming Superiority.
They want to make customers question / double their current provider
They want to make people switch.

They show the Tiny Beer ad with the Boston Guys to show off the DISH Anywhere aspect of the Hopper.

I thought this was DISH's mentality with their current customer base? Seems like it every time they get into a pissing match with the content providers....
 
They are all done with James now...

For retailers their costs on equipment is going down tomorrow. (Which I guess is big news for Retailers.)

Dish will be increasing some of their incentives for retailers. (This too is big news for retailers.. but for consumers... not so much.)
 
We've heard all this before. Promise of Big News, and then nothing big and nothing new either.
