Sony HD-200 Receiver and Software Upgrade

I recently purchased the Sony HD-200 HIgh defininiton receiver for half price at a local retail electronics store and found out later that it has an old software revision in it (.08) and I called Directv and they finally after 4 calls said they would send it but it never came. I have called them several more times and they say that I should contact Sony. Does anyone know how I can get the latest software upgrade of (1.04) as this machine has voice dropouts and the new revision fixes it.

Boy You Must Have One Of The First Ones Out.
I Got My HD-200 New A Little Over A Year Ago. I Have Never Had A Software Update & The Receiver Has Never Given Me Any Proplems.

Just leave it plugged into the satellite the update should eventually cycle through.

Yeah they keep telling me at D* that it should come through at night and should have already come through. I don't know why it hasn't but I will leave it plugged in anyway. Looks like Sony would have a way of sending it someway.
